Rodney Glenn Bills, age 79, passed away from this earthly life October 20, 2017 in Pocatello, Idaho. Rodney was born August 14, 1938 in Montpelier, Idaho to Lawrence and Berniece Bills.

He attended schools in Montpelier. He didn’t finish High School but later earned his GED, an accomplishment he was very proud of.

He married Annetta Loreen Kunz on May 19, 1956. They later divorced. They had five children Glenn R., Dennis Dee, Kathryn K., Danny Ray, and Shane Martin.

Rodney worked for Central Farmer, Stauffer Chemical, Western Auto, Danks electric, and owned his own electrical business, R.B. Electric.

Rodney loved telling jokes and doing magic tricks for everyone. He loved hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. He loved his “puppies”.

Two of his sons, a daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter also followed in his footsteps with electrical work. He was an EMT, one of the first in Bear Lake Valley. He loved helping others. His oldest son and daughter followed this path.

Rodney is survived by his children Glenn R. (wife Jane), Dennis (wife Kelly), Kathy (husband Tom), and Danny (wife Laura), fifteen grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren; along with many other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his father and mother and son, Shane.

The family would like to thank the Gateway and their staff for the love and care of Rodney over the years he has been with them.
