Rodney L. Gabel, 70, passed away on July 26, 2016 in Gainesville, FL. He was born on August 6, 1945 in Lansing, MI to the late Harold and Dorothy Gabel.
Rodney received his Doctor of Optometry degree and practiced in Jacksonville for over 40 years.
Rodney was preceded in death by his wife, Sheri Gabel.
Rodney is survived by his children, Wade and Jessica Gabel; granddaughters, London and Jaise Hallner; sister, Patricia Ferrell; nephew, Nathan Ferrell; niece, Katrina Ferrell; and a host of family and friends.
