Rodney DeWayne Hunter, 48, passed away unexpectedly March 14, 2020 at Riverview Hospital, surrounded by his family. He’s a lifelong resident of Anderson. He worked hard supporting his family. He loved driving Big Rig trucks, working on automobiles and was owner of RH Transporters. Rodney loved God and often spoke of his Faith.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Gabe and Crystal Maxwell; daughters, Brittney Vontress and Whitney Phipps; mother, Betty (Bennie) Smith; siblings, Shurita Sisson, Sheree (Robert) Gamble, Lisa Smith, Bishop Clinton Hunter, Jamie Moore, Earl Sisson Jr, Kevin Eagly, Stacy Hamilton; aunts, Louise Foster, Virginia Davis, Pearlie (Johnny) Cooley; uncle, Thomas Gibbs, special sisters, Destiny and Harmony Becote; extended family, Debbie Huffman, Anita (Dan)Walker, Moses (Paul) Beeman, Deanna (Bob) Basstt, Donna (Tracy) Price.
Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Earl Sisson, Sr; grandparents, James and Virginia (Fuller) Gibbs; mother-in-law, Merrilyn Donovan, sister-in-law, Karen Thompson.
