Robyn Michelle Kegley, 33, of Boerne, Texas passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2019.
Robyn was born on July 26, 1985 in Houston, Texas to Bob Barney and Gwendolyn Chapman. Her family knew her as a kind, loving, outgoing person who never met a stranger, and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Robyn graduated from Deer Park High School in 2003. It was here that she honed her passion for singing. That same year, she had the honor of singing at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Her son Austin was born in 2007. He truly became the light and inspiration of her life. She married her husband Michael in 2010, with whom she spent nine devoted and loving years.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; her son, Austin; her mother, Gwendolyn Chapman; her father, Bob Barney; her three brothers: Bobby, Bryan, and David; and many nieces and nephews.
Robyn had an unwavering love of butterflies. She especially loved the annual migration of the Monarch Butterfly. Her life was a living example of her favorite butterfly quote “Don’t quit before the miracle happens”. When you think of Robyn, celebrate the good memories and remember life is short and fragile, and should be lived to the fullest!
