Robin Lynn (Kammritz) Seymour, 68, of Fairfield, CT and Tierra Verde, FL passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Bridgeport, CT on Thursday, December 8, 2022, following a courageous battle with breast cancer.  She was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd Seymour.

Robin was born with her twin sister Donna in Hartford, CT on December 4, 1954.  She was the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred “Dot” (Moulton) Kammritz.

Robin spent her childhood years in West Simsbury, CT.  She was a graduate of Simsbury High School and Fairfield University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree.  After college Robin joined the Pitney Bowes Corporation in Stamford, CT as a sales representative.  With her outgoing personality Robin quickly advanced as a top sales performer.  In the 1990’s Pitney Bowes transferred Robin to its Tampa, FL office where she assumed the position of Head Director of Sales for the Florida region.

Robin was devoted to her family and was a loyal friend to many.  She was smart, witty, compassionate to others and steadfast in her beliefs.  The lyrics of the Carole King song “You’ve Got a Friend” epitomize the person that Robin was.  

Besides her husband and parents, Robin was predeceased by her beloved sister Donna Kammritz, her aunts Rita Bradtmuller and Lois “Babe” Wanczyk, her uncle Lewis Moulton and cousins Carl Jackson and Robert Clifford Jackson.  She is survived by her devoted long-time companion John “Johnny” White of Fairfield, CT, her loyal cousin John “Jay” Wanczyk and his wife Dianna of Southington, CT, her nieces Heather Cisz and her companion Derek Mazzola of West Hartford, CT and Rachael Cisz and her husband Jordan Jarvis of Newington, CT and many treasured friends from FL and CT including Mary Henetz of Stratford, CT and Linda Russo of East Hartford, CT who were both by her side during her illness.

Robin’s family would like to extend their special thanks for the care and support of her doctor, Richard Zelkowitz, MD, and the exceptional care she received by the dedicated staff on the 9th floor of St. Vincent’s Hospital especially during her final days.
