GRIFFITH, Robin R. of Kalamazoo, Michigan Robin passed away Saturday evening, July 6, 2013 following a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 17, 1958 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Donald and Rose Heacock Pierce. On June 28, 1980, she was united in marriage to Kim L. Griffith. Robin loved the outdoors and nature and enjoyed watching squirrels and birds.
Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Kim Griffith; their son, Todd Griffith; mother, Rose Chuck Franks of Kalamazoo; sister, Lisa Bob Franks-Woodward of Portage; two nephews, Daryn Snow and Rick Ketelaar; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws. Preceding her in death were one son, Kevin Griffith and her father, Donald Pierce. Robin’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Anna Hoekstra, her team and the staff at West Michigan Cancer Center for their loving care and compassion they have given Robin and her family during this difficult time.
