Robin “Rob” Mark Wilson, 57, of Salisbury passed away on July 10, 2014 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.
Born in Rockingham, NC on December 16, 1956, he was the son of the late Eunice Margaret Rorie Wilson and James Edwin Wilson.
Rob, also known as “Shotgun” to family and friends, graduated from Catawba College with a bachelor’s degree in business. After working as a foodservice manager at Catawba College, he worked for 17 ½ years as a salesman for Silver Eagle Distributing. He was currently working at Talbert Woods Apartment Complex in Mooresville. Robin loved photography and music. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and a friend to all that had the pleasure to meet him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Martha Moore Wilson, whom he married on June 5, 1982; sons, Russell Stephen Wilson and fiancé Victoria Rose Mitchell of Salisbury, Jonathan Brice Wilson of Pittsburgh, PA; brothers, James David Wilson of Asheboro, NC, Jerald Edwin Wilson and wife Linda of Elizabethtown, NC.
