Roberto M. Perea, 84, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Dorela; his children, Christina Siler, Marcella Tafoya (Chuck), Bobby Perea (Christine), Doris Baldwin (Richard) and Raul Perea (Andrea); 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends including his brothers, Eusebio Perea (Betty), Frank Perea (Ruth), Tony Perea (Bertha); his sisters, Pauline Trujillo (David), Linda Carrillo (Danny), Isabel Sandoval (Greg), Maxine Sanchez (Steve); and his sister-in-law, Tina Perea. Roberto was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Rosarito; his siblings, Danny Perea, Viola Perea and Magdalena Montoya; and two grandchildren, Antonito Romero and Angel Perea. Mr. Perea was a master carpenter who built both the homes he lived in as well as many residential and commercial properties. A Rosary will be recited Friday, September 9, 2016, 6:00 p.m. at Holy Child Parish, 19 Cam Del Santo Nino, Tijeras, NM 87059.
