Roberto is preceded in death by his father, Nicolas Gonzalez; mother, Maria de la Luz Gonzalez; and brothers, Valente Gonzalez and Francisco (Kiko) Gonzalez.
He is survived by his wife, Arminda (Mindy) Gonzalez, of 40 years; son, Omar Roberto Gonzalez; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Gonzalez; his beloved grandson, Gabriel Omar Gonzalez; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Roberto worked for South Texas Community College for over 30 years. He was a hunting and fishing enthusiast, and loved being with his grandson.
