ROBERTA J. “BOBBIE” WHITE, 81, a longtime resident of Deming passed away Monday April 25, 2016 at Mimbres Memorial Nursing Home.

Bobbie was born August 17, 1934 in Buckeye, Arizona to James R. and Irene Harris Walls. She has been a resident of Deming since 1948. She was very instrumental in the daily operations of the White Ranch and also was an accountant having worked with Harold Morrow and Tamara Hurt over the years.

Roberta was also a talented architect. She enjoyed helping families put their ideas together to develop the dream home they had visioned. She was a member of the Rebekah’s and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her son, John T. “Tead” White of Deming; grandchildren, Ami Renee Evans (Daniel), Darby Lynn Gerondale (Patrick), John Thomas “J.T.” White (Alyssa) and Crystal Ziller (Terry) and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. “Buck” White in 2004.
