Roberta Lynne Garrett
January 1, 1959 – January 26, 2021
Roberta Garrett “Berta” a resident of Weslaco, passed away Tuesday morning January 26th 2021 at her home at the age of 62. Roberta was born on January 1st 1959 in Ontario California and was raised by her loving grandparents Margaret and Thomas Harber. Berta had many occupations throughout the years but was a mechanic by trade. She loved to work on cars and give advice on how to fix them as well. But most importantly she was the opinionated queen bee of our family and was the glue that held all nine of her children and family together.
She is preceded in death by her husband Michael Ray Garrett Sr, Son Michael Ray Garrett Jr, and Son in Law Donald Lee Lopez.
She is survived by her companion of many years William Witt and her loving children Heather Sauceda (Wingo), Raylynne Settle (James) Windy Morin (David) Alice Williams (T.J.) Jennifer Bunagan (Buddah) Steven Garrett (Andie) Roberta De Leon (Joe) Albert Garrett (Jennifer). Twenty five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Internment will follow to Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
