Roberta J. (Zink) Wasielewski, 88, of Peru passed away August 3, 2010 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.
Mrs. Wasielewski was born April 11, 1922 in Pikesville, MD a daughter of Carroll and Agnes Geneva (Kelley) Zink. She married Thomas Wasielewski Jr. on October 31, 1943 in Baltimore, MD. She is survived by four children, Donald Wasielewski of Peru, IL, David (Sharon) Wasielewski of Roselle, IL, Loretta Glynn of Peru, IL, and Donna (Windel Milner) Cohrs of Petersburg, IL; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; two sisters; one brother and two granddaughters. Mrs. Wasielewski was a former member of St. Valentine Catholic Church. She worked as a telephone operator for Illinois Bell at St. Margarets Hospital. She also worked at Westclox and at Bassicks in Spring Valley.
