Roberta Grace “Bobbi” Negron, 73, of Boerne, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017. Roberta Grace Phillips was born on May 16, 1944 in Otho, Iowa, to Elmer and Grace (Foster) Phillips. Bobbi enjoyed the company of family and close friends especially the time she spent with her precious grandchildren. She enjoyed watching murder mystery documentaries and playing a good game of Words with Friends. Bobbi had a special good-natured word for her opponents when she lost. She loved to laugh and had a laugh that was contagious. Bobbi was always up for trying something new and enjoyed shopping trips with her daughter. Her family and friends alike feel blessed beyond measure for the time they had with Bobbi and will cherish their memories of her forever.
Bobbi is survived by her husband of 40 years, Rafael Negron; her three daughters, Belinda Luhring and her husband, TJ, Becky Ellison, and Beth McDowell and Clint Greenwalt; her stepdaughter, Yvonne; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; her siblings, Clifford Phillips and his wife, Nancy, Mary Ellen Phillips and Robert Ewing; and other family and friends all of whom loved and will miss her dearly.
Bobbi was preceded by her stepson, Rafael Negron, Jr.; her parents, Elmer and Grace Phillips; her brothers, Warren Phillips, Russell Phillips, Earl Phillips and Don Phillips; and her sister, Mary Lou Ewing.
In keeping with Bobbi’s wishes, there will be no public services. Take a little time out of your busy day and spend it with your loved ones and keep Rafael and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
