Roberta (Bobbie) Jean Reynolds passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022, at the age of 78. She was cared for by a loving daughter in-law, Sarah Reynolds, three loving granddaughters, and many others.
Bobbie was born Wednesday, September 29, 1943, to Glenn Sherman Sample and Alverta Kathryn McCrann Sample. On Saturday, February 2, 1963, she married Harold E. Reynolds. They were later sealed in the Mesa Arizona Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Saturday, October 26, 1968.

As a longtime resident of the South Valley, Bobbie was involved in many activities. She taught in the Albuquerque Public School system at Polk Middle School. Bobbie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many capacities in the church organization. She enjoyed sewing, shopping, and baking. Her cinnamon rolls were everyone’s favorite. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend to many.  She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. She was never happier than when she could get the whole family together. She never met a stranger she couldn’t make a friend out of. Roberta fought breast cancer and beat it. Her joy and infectious laughter will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harold E. Reynolds of Albuquerque; her six children, Kevin of Albuquerque, Rhonda and Jeff Garets of Vancouver, WA, Gregory and Tamara Reynolds of Brigham City, UT, Brian and Ginger Reynolds of Bakersfield, CA, Harold T. and Renee Reynolds of The Woodlands, TX, Tim and Sarah of Albuquerque; and 18 grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Cleo Stewart of Albuquerque, Vickie Blair of Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Alverta Sample; and siblings Donald Sample, Joyce Sample, Marion Sample, Rick Sample, and June Stowers.
