Roberta Ann (Briner) Bethard, 84, of Streator, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Heritage Healthcare Center in Mendota. Mrs. Bethard was born July 18, 1934 in Streator to Robert and Pearl (Linn) Briner. She married Robert Wesley Bethard on January 7, 1950 in Pontiac.Mrs. Bethard was a member of Erven Avenue Baptist Church, Streator. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking and singing.
Survivors include four children, Connie Viland of Marshall, MI, Roberta “Gail” Sliker of Streator, Robert Wayne (Thelma) Bethard of Crosby, TX and Rebecca Boles of Peru; one sister, Thelma Johnson of Ottawa; one brother-in-law, Gail Bethard and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert on January 26, 2014; one son, Ronald Bethard; two sons-in-law, Donald Viland and Michael Boles; one grandson-in-law, Frank Schmitt; two sisters, Gladys Burkett and Dolores Bethard and one brother, Robert Briner.
