Robert Yancey Crocker, age 87 of Franklin passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, after a short illness. Mr. Crocker was born October 25, 1920 in Rome, GA to the late Edward & Naomi Crocker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Pauline Crocker. He was a WWII veteran and worked as a Master Carpenter for Georgia Tech from 1954 to 1982.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Crocker; children, Angela (Larry) Collier, Nancy (Robert) Quattrocchi, Robert (Diane) Crocker, Jr. and Desiree (Mark) Winter. Step Children; Ronnie (Kay) Hemmings, Steve (Margie) Madrin and Cindy Hurley. Grandchildren; Steve Collier, Tracy Butler, Bill Turner, Jr., Sabrina Turner, Wendy Beaulieu, Jenny Ledbetter, Jeremy Mitchell and Amanda Montoya. Great Grandchildren; Josh Collier, Chase Collier, Kelci Butler, Christopher Turner, Nathaniel Turner, Brooke Turner, Austin Turner, Michaela, Amber and Bobby Beaulieu, Alex & Addy Ledbetter, Hunter Mitchell. Step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; Joseph Hannah, Ronnie Hemmings, Jr., Jonathan Hemmings, Crystal Hemmings, Austin Madrin, Selena Madrin, Joseph Hannah, III and Jaden Hannah and Jake Hannah. Sister, Mildred Moody and brothers, Jerry Crocker and Gene Crocker, all of Rome.
