Robert “Bob” Adamson, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
Bob was born November 26, 1943 in Geneseo, Illinois to Robert and Virginia Adamson. He graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College. On May 24, 1969 he married Sandra Ellis, his lifelong sweetheart. He was a member of Norwoodville Baptist Church.
Bob enjoyed collecting antique coins. He was a deacon at his church and loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include children: Stephen Adamson of West Des Moines, Marcia (John) Jannenga of Des Moines; grandchildren: Dillon, Garret, Marissa, Caitlin, Crystal, Cassidy, Ethan, Stacy; great grandsons: Brody and Roman; Great granddaughters Emsley, Raelynn and Eliana; sister Eva.
He has been reunited in heaven with wife, Sandy Adamson, son, Mark Adamson and great granddaughter, Rachel Elizabeth Petithory, 4 sisters and 1 brother.
