Robert William Roach, 90, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 while surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on November 22, 1930.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life for 63 years, Dorothy Sue Roach; his parents, Goldman and Rosa Roach; several brothers and sisters; a grandson; and a son-in-law.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Julie Roach of Cohutta; daughters and son-in-law, Debbie Roach Palmer and Doug Palmer of Lafayette, Terrie Roach Burns of Cohutta; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Evelyn Roach of Cohutta; sister, Bonnie Morgan of Cohutta; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends; and special pets.
Robert loved his community and was involved with the Cohutta Volunteer Fire Department. He would tell everyone where he lived because after all there “ain’t no place like COHUTTA.”
