Robert “Bob” Linder, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather died in his sleep of natural causes Thursday, June 16, 2016.
Bob was born in Emmett, Idaho, was raised in Midvale, Idaho, and Naches, Washington. His parents were William H. Linder and Alice L. Linder. Bob proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1950 to 1954 as a Machinist Mate 3rd class on the Bataan 29 during the Korean Conflict.
Bob married Pauline Derie in 1958 and they moved to Caldwell in 1959. He worked at Kit Manufacturing before working for Vallivue School District for 30 years.
Bob is survived by his wife, Pauline Linder; their 3 children, Cheri Crow (Dan), Rhonda Magill (Bill), and Doran Linder (Alisa); 7 grandchildren, Jonathan Crow (Justina), Jacob Crow (Brittany), Holly Kersey (Joseph), Michael Magill (Nicole), David Magill, Morgan Linder and Chase Linder; and 11 great-grandchildren.
