Robert was born September 30, 1919 in Fromberg, Montana to parents Fred Ernest Foust and Edith Lenore Brown. He Graduated from Fromberg High School and later married Patricia Dowell of Edgar, Montana. Robert loved farming and farmed in Fromberg Montana for many years. He later went to work in the oil fields of Wyoming and then returned to farming in Nampa, Idaho. Robert also lived in Phoenix, Arizona but in 1958 moved back to Star, Idaho to take over his parent’s farm.
