Robert “Wayne” Wigner, 74, of Anderson, passed away on November 30, 2019.
He was born on May 10, 1945 in Anderson, Indiana where he resided most of his life. Wayne graduated from Madison Heights High School. He served his country in the United States Navy for six years. He worked for the Department of Corrections, and retired from Chrysler Corporation. He was a member of The Church at Linwood, and loved watch to all different types of sports on TV.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Belinda Wigner, mother, Betty Wigner, children, Michelle (Austin) Melton, Tracy Prochnow, Christopher Davis, and Jennifer (Michael) Oppy, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren that meant the world to him. Also surviving are his sisters, Ginger (Keith) Teems and Jeanine (Danny) Pope, brother-in-law, Michael Pruett, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wigner, first wife, Jane Wigner, son, Andy Wigner, and sister, Janet Pruett.
