Robert Wayne Pruett 79 of Clinton passed away on Feb 18, 2014 at 7:43am in the Clinton Gardens. He was born on Dec 30, 1934 in Worthington to William and Thursa Shephard Pruett.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Mary Blanton and Midge Dayhuff, three brothers; Paul, Ralph and Jim Pruett.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Francis Elaine Pruett, a daughter Peg Payton (Greg) of Terre Haute, two sons; Keith Pruett (Cindi) of Clinton and Jack Pruett (Ruth) of Terre Haute. Five grandchildren; Brandy Pruett & Lindsay Brown both of Clinton, Steve Payton (Manuela) of Indianapolis, Bob Payton and Chad Pruett both of Terre Haute. Eight grandchildren; Stephanie, Michael, and Andrew Payton, Taylor Bonomo, Gracie Brown, Sydney, Konner and Parker Pruett.
