Robert “Wayne” Carl, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday June 13, 2008 at 12:15 p.m. at the Northern Arizona Medical Center. Wayne was born on February 1, 1953 in the city of Williams. He grew up in Flagstaff, where he graduated from Coconino High School in 1971. Wayne was employed for many years at McMahan’s Furniture here in Flagstaff.
He also spent many years in the Bullhead City area, where he worked at the Riverside Hotel & Casino in Laughlin, Nevada. That is where he met his wife, Tammy. He returned to Flagstaff in 2000, where they lived in the Doney Park area. In 2004, Wayne became an active member in the Rock Full Gospel Church, where he loved his many duties.
He is survived by his wife Tammy, mother Opal Carl, brother Coy Carl, daughters Linda Zimmerman, Crystal Oram, Carrie Drye, and Jessica Brent, along with 6 grandchildren. Wayne will be sorely missed, and all of us look forward to our grand reunion, at the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
