Dr. Robert “Hugh” Walker, age 69, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2005. He was born on September 8, 1935 in O”Donnell, Texas to James B. Walker and Nellie Mae Nichols. His parents precede him in death. Hugh is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Sherry Gray Walker; his children, Valerie Hardcastle, Shannon Walker, Rosalyn Stewart and her husband Matt and Robert Alan Walker and his wife Ginger; his grandchildren, Kiah Hardcastle, Cheshire Hardcastle, John Quinton Hardcastle, Carson James Stewart, Spencer Davis Stewart, Kendall Stewart, Truman Dean Stewart, Sara Nicole Walker and Hazel Grace Walker, his sister, Joanne Patterson and her husband A.R., also many nieces, nephews and close was a professor of Physics at the University of Houston for over 30 years. He was also the Dean of College for Mathematics and Science at the University of Houston. After Hugh retired he volunteered at the Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne, Texas.
