McGee, Robert, age 87, longtime resident of Miami, passed away on June 21, 2022. Bob was born on March 5, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Jack and Viola McGee. Bob was a teacher, principal and school administrator but he is best known as husband to Arlene to whom he was married for 56 years and as a loving father and grandfather. His family and friends, especially his grandchildren, will certainly miss Bob sharing the amazing wealth of knowledge he had on so many different subjects.
Bob is predeceased by his son Matthew, granddaughter Maggie and sister Molly. He is survived by his wife, Arlene, siblings Don, David, Phyllis and Kathy, daughters Melissa (Van) Stuckey and Kara (Don Fowler), daughter in law Heidi Clarke, grandchildren Carl, Jack, Colin, Noah and Sophie and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob is survived by special friends Michael and Laura Peredo and was a surrogate father to many including Martin Acosta.
