Robert W. Keown 73 of Clinton passed away on Nov 18, 2013 at 10:21pm in Union Hospital Clinton. He was born in Indianapolis on Oct 10, 1940 to Roscoe Keown and Rosemary Lawson Keown. He served in the US Airforce. He had worked at JI Case and Otis Elevator. He was a member of the Jerusalem #99 F&AM, OES #254, Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, active with the JN Frist Demolay Chapter and the Jobs Daughters Bethel #5, helped with the boys scouts and girls scouts. Took a group of boy scouts to Philmont, New Mexico and he was an avid Jeff Gordon fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Edna Joan Fox Keown of Clinton, a son Steve & Nadine Keown of Linton and a daughter Diana Keown of Clinton. Two brothers; Larry & Theresa Keown of Clinton and Roger Keown of Clinton, two sisters; Barbara Mack of Oaktown and Judy Wagle of Clinton. Six grandchildren; April Stevens, Jessica Hill, Brandon Bell, Merissa Keown, Angela Stranahan and Linsey Straley. Six great grandchildren; Kairi, Hazelle, Jazlynn, Gabriel, Dylan and Jonah. Also, several nieces and nephews.
