Robert Vitale, Jr., 79, of Toms River, NJ passed up to heaven on Sunday, May 17, 2015, around 1 pm.
Originally from Clifton, Bob lived in Bloomfield for many years and raised his family there before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 1999. He worked as a Warehouse Manager in the automotive field, mostly with Toyota, and retired to Toms River in 1999. Bob was well known as an umpire in the Bloomfield sports scene and played softball well into his 60s.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Joyce, son Robert, son Thomas and his wife Yamir, granddaughters Shannon and Gia, sister Marilyn and many other relatives. He was loved and will be missed.
