Robert Van Finn, April 22, 1939 to September 24, 2011 Robert Finn passed away after a lengthy illness at Community Hospital in Anderson. He was retired from Guide Lamp-General Motors after 30 years as a Skilled Tradesman.

He lived a full eventful life making all his dreams come true. He was great at everything he did, things like earning a full basketball scholarship to Texas Western to being Chief Mechanic on Jim Hurtubise 500 car. building and driving, USAC Sprint Cars ? traveling across the country with his wife and dog by motor coach.

He and Phyllis had a winter place in Melbourne Beach, Florida and spent many winters there where he played golf and tennis.

There was nothing he wanted to do or have that he did not achieve. He is survived by his ex-wife of 42 years and his life long friend of 50 years; Phyllis A. Finn and Missy their German Shepard. Step-Children; Brett & wife Kelly Bateman and Kelly Sutton & John Eisele, three granddaughters and one great granddaughter, his sister; Mary Jane Pring Gene of Cheyene, Wyoming and three nieces and nephews of California and Wyoming. Special friend; John Redding.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; Van & Jewel Finn and his grandson Jerimie Sutton.
