Robert Thomas Sullivan passed away on October 1, 2016, at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his family by his side. He was 62.
Bob was born on September 1, 1954 and was a life-long resident of Norwich, a graduate of the Norwich Free Academy (1972) and the University of Connecticut (1977), where he studied business administration.
Bob enjoyed a distinguished business career and spent more than 20 years with the former IKON Office Solutions before launching a successful business of his own 15 years ago. Combining his technical and business expertise with his personality and work ethic, he launched DocXellent, a company that provides corporate clients with a range of electronic document management software and quality control applications. He always lifted up those around them and brought out the best in others.
But for all his business success, Bob will be remembered best for his love of family and for life, bringing laughter and happiness wherever he went. He was an avid runner and golfer and was endlessly curious, enjoying the pursuit of learning new things throughout his life.
