Robert Thomas Snyder, age 66, of Ludington passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 10, 2017. He was born July 29, 1951 to Leon and Margaret (Schrems) Snyder. Bob attended St. Paul School, graduated from Owosso High in 1969 and attended Michigan Technological University. While in high school he worked for Stechschulte Gas & Oil and continued working there until he started with Farm Bureau. He also worked with McAvoy/Tait Insurance and Auto Owners Insurance. In 1980, Bob moved to Ludington where he worked for Scott/Lentz/Jenner Insurance. In 1982, Bob started Snyder Insurance Agency and in 2010, merged with Smith & Eddy Insurance of Scottville. Bob was a past member of the Jaycees and Rotary of Ludington. He loved hunting and camping with family and friends.
