Robert T. (Bob) Robertson passed away at home in Nampa, Idaho on Thursday, August 18, 2016.
Bob moved to Idaho when he was sixteen living in Atlanta and then, Notus. He was one of many drafted out of high school to serve his country during World War II. Bob later received his diploma from Notus High School.
In 1946 on August 3rd, Bob married Ruth Allene Allison at her family home in Centerpoint. Together, they raised four children, spent twenty-six years in the United States Army, and celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary two weeks prior to his passing.
Bob spent his years in the Army serving first in World War II, then in the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth, daughters Jane and Hester Shirlene, and son, Larre’, four grandsons, five granddaughters, and several great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and daughter, Sandra. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
