Mr. Robert Earl Taylor, Sr. of Tampa, Florida, departed this earth to make heaven his home on Sunday, August 8, 2021.
Mr. Robert Earl Taylor Sr., “Squirrel,” as he was affectionately called, was born on May 18, 1962, in Tampa, Florida, to the union of James and Louella-Moore Taylor. He completed his formal education in the Hillsborough County Public Schools system and served as a Maintenance Technician for over thirty-five years throughout the Tampa Bay area. Mr. Taylor was a devout family man who worked extremely hard to provide for his family, and always ensured that his loved ones were well taken care of.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnnie Moore, Sr. and Moeal Moore, and Eddie Taylor, Sr. and Elease Taylor; parents, James and Louella Moore-Taylor; son, Roderick Taylor; aunts and uncles, Leatha Mae Taylor-Armound (Jackie), Alene Williams, Odell Taylor, Sarah Randolph, Sadie Harrison-Taylor, Mable Ball, Shirley Moore, Robert Lee Moore, Johnnie Moore, Jr., Willie Moore, and Sallie Lecount (Cludner).
He leaves to cherish fond memories, his loving companion for over fifteen years, Valerie Johnson; loving children, Tyronn Cummings (Marquita), Robert Taylor, Jr. (Galloway), and Robert Lee Taylor, Sr. (Jennie); siblings, Elizabeth Taylor, Carol Taylor, Paula Taylor, Paul Taylor (Jackie), Everett Taylor, Sr. (Mercedes), and Taquasha Pressley (Ryan); grandchildren, Tyliyah, Ty’yonna, Ty’asia, Robert Lee Taylor Jr., Jaylah, Cortez, Jourdan, Demetrius Jr., Taliah, Erin, Jade, McKenzie, Kovu, Aniya, Tony, Lorielle, Tobias, Destiny, Chozen, and Walter.
