Robert P. Tavares of Bourne formerly of Plymouth passed away peacefully on October 19th at B.I.D. Medical Center in Boston. Born in Plymouth on August 8, 1955 son of the late Edward and Adeline (Pimental) Tavares. He was educated in Plymouth and a graduate of Plymouth – Carver High School. Robert had worked for the Town of Sandwich as a Custodian in the school system. Bob was a member of the MA. State Guard and was a Call Firefighter in the town of Plymouth. He was a history buff and had a great love for WWI and WWII history. He enjoyed buying, selling and collecting WWII artifacts and antiques in general.
