Robert C. “Bob” Tavarczky, age 75, of DeMotte, IN passed away on March 6, 2011 at St. Anthony Medical Center, Crown Point, IN.
He was born on February 11, 1936 in East Chicago, IN to David and Ann (Kukta) Tavarczky, both deceased.
On February 4, 1956 he married Nannette Melcher and she survives. He was a Section Manager of the Rail Equipment Repair Shop for Inland Steel retiring in 1991 after 32 years of service. Robert proudly served in the US Air Force. He was a member of St Cecilia Catholic Church. He was devoted to his church, wife and family.
