Robert T. Hurt 91, Indianapolis passed away April 28, 2014. He was born in Indianapolis to the late Andrew Leonard Hurt and Hazel May (Miller) Hurt on September 6, 1922. He is survived by his sister Virginia (James) Parham of Beech Grove, one grandchild, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Robert was also preceded in death by his wife Ruth (Norrington) Hurt , brothers: Charles A. Hurt, and Elzie Jean Hurt. He was the retired owner/operator of Daylight Coal Company. Robert was a member of Southport Lodge No. 270 F&A.M., Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite, and the Murat Shrine.
