Robert T. Delaney, 50, of Lanoka Harbor, Lacey Twp., NJ passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center. Born and raised in Staten Island, NY, he lived in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands for 2 years before moving to Lanoka Harbor in 1993.
Robert received an Associate’s Degree from Johnson & Wales in Providence, RI. He was a chef for various restaurants in New York City Hotels and was the former owner of Hippolyte’s Café in Keyport, NJ. Robert participated and cooked in many Walsh/Bobbit family reunions, was a member of the Jeep Club and enjoyed gardening and golfing.
Robert is survived by his wife of 25 years Jane (nee Bobbitt), his daughter Emma Delaney, his mother Doris Delaney, two sisters Deidre Duggan and Debra Delaney.
