Robert T. Cook, age 89 of Midland died Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at his home. The son of the late Arthur B. and Vera (Thompson) Cook was born January 26, 1921 in Wolverine, Michigan.

Robert served with the U.S. Army Air Corps 20th Fighter Group, 55th Fighter Squadron at Kings Cliffe, during WWII. On December 15, 1950 he married the former Ruth Prast in Midland. Robert retired as a chemist from the Dow Chemical Company in 1982, after 32 years of service. Following in the family line of photographers Robert was an accomplished photographer with his world class collection of photos taken in England during WWII. He enjoyed traveling, and in his younger years, hunting and fishing.

Robert is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Ruth; son, Donald Cook of Derry, New Hampshire; daughter, Kathryn Cook of Monroe; and brother, Harold (Helen) Cook of Ohio.
