Robert L. “Bob” Stidd, 82, of Bloomington, passed away at his residence September 19, 2011.
He was born December 23, 1928 in Monroe County and was the son of Farwell and Bernice (Stephens) Stidd. Bob owned and operated several Service Stations in the area and retired from Hoosier Energy. He was a member of the Northside Christian Church, Bloomington Lodge #22, F&AM, and Eastern Star. He was a devoted husband, loving father and his grandchildren were the loves of his life.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years Bertha L. (Johnson) Stidd of Bloomington, two daughters and sons-in-law Patsy Jo Kinnaman (Jim) and Becky Lou Barrow (Dave) all of Bloomington, one brother and sister-in-law William K. Stidd (Peggy), three grandchildren, Kyle Kinnaman (Aubrey) of Georgia, Kurt Kinnaman and Brooke Fleener (Sam) of Bloomington, and one great granddaughter Claire Kinnaman of Georgia.
He is also survived by his nephew Rev. Glen Stidd who will officiate the service.
