Robert S Nagy,” Bob” age 69, passed away peacefully on Monday June 1, 2020
After a military career as Air Force pilot he settled down in Niceville and then in Destin.
A very intelligent and hard worker, he loved his work at Survice Engineering Company as Subject Matter Expert for the last eighteen years. He was a great talker, funny story teller and he enjoyed life at the fullest. He was loved by everyone who met him.
Family, friends, travel, good food, wine and cigars were at the top of his list. Hiking was one of his passions, and in the last few years he enjoyed his hiking trips to Switzerland, Spain, and France. With the golden heart he had, he always made sure to bring a little souvenir to everybody and never forgot a single one.
His parents William Albert and Helen Maria preceded Bob in death. He is survived by his wife of 30 years “Pili”, sons Jose and Ivar, daughter in law Cheryl, Brother Jim, Sister Lori, and his best friend, who he always referred to as brother, Markus.
Very special thanks to Dr Mose Hayes and the whole team of Oncology Group of Sacred Heart in Santa Rosa Beach. He was treated by everyone as family with love and respect. Special thanks also to Emerald Coast Hospice.
