Robert Sigsbee Jr., age 71, of Algona, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at his home. Robert Sigsbee Jr., the son of Robert Louis and Ruth Emily (Bruellman) Sigsbee, was born on March 17, 1949 in Algona, Iowa. He graduated from Algona High School in 1967 and continued his education at the University of Northern Iowa. Bob graduated from UNI in 1971 with a Bachelor’s Degree. He worked in the Food Service Department at the Hospital in Minneapolis. Bob loved to listen to classical music, read, go for walks and ride his bike. Left to cherish Bob’s memory are his two sisters, Muriel Secker and her husband Martin of Auburn, CA, and Judy Boyd and her husband Tim of Algona; brother, James Sigsbee and his wife Deborah of Sioux Center and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents.
