Robert “Shayne” Jones was born October 19, 1962 to Dick and Jeannie (Hart) Jones Yeamas in Lamar, CO and passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 in his beloved mountains near Canon City. Shayne was united in marriage to Michelle Dee Lindholm on October 18, 1987 in Canon City. He was a wonderful father, husband, son, and brother. He loved the outdoors and football, and was a huge John Wayne fan. Shayne was always willing to help anyone, and worked with troubled youth and became a guiding light for all he knew. Shayne is survived by his wife of 25 years, Michelle Dee; son, Shawn Robert; and daughter, Courtney Lynn. He is also survived by his mother Jeannie Yeamas; brother, Justin (Angie) Jones; nephews, Dylan and Austin; very special friends, Ron and Erin Price; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by is father, Dick Jones; and brother, Rick Jones.
