ROBERT HARRISON SCHLOSSER – “Bobby”
November 25, 1941 – December 28, 2015
Bob moved to Arizona at the age of four years. His family moved here from Philly and he never left. Bob graduated from Scottsdale High School in 1959. He attended ASU for 4 years, then on to U of A for his law degree. He established a private practice and practiced law for over 40 years. He was a member of ATO (Alpha Tau Omega) throughout his years at ASU and U of A. He also served in the Army National Guard while at ASU.
Bob joined the Arizona Country Club in 1973. His love of golf eventually led him to play 36 holes on Saturday and 36 holes on Sunday, as well as his Wednesday and Friday games. Bob was “appointed” as Commissioner of the Schlosser golf group and continued as commissioner for many years. By definition a commissioner is a “representative of supreme authority in an area.” Enough said!
Bob was preceded in death by his brother Alan. He is survived by his “companion and sweetheart”, Linda; and his step daughter, Lori Tartaglio and his step granddaughters, Alex and Lexi.
Bob found humor in everything. He loved life, he loved people and he was loved by so many.
