BRISTOL; Mr. Robert S. Petrucci 76, of Bristol passed away Friday May 25, 2012 at Bristol Hospital. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth (Augustyniak) Petrucci.
Mr. Petrucci was born July 19, 1935 in New Britain a son of the late Albert and Cecelia (Todzia) Petrucci. He attended local schools and proudly served his country in the US Army from 1953 thru 1956 during the Korean War as a Military Police Officer. He was a New Britain Police Officer from 1958 thru 1975 and also served as president of the police union. Mr.
Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Jennifer Tucci and her fiancée Todd Parker of Bristol, Ronald Petrucci of New Britain, Dawn Grodzki and her husband Les Sideman of Kensington, Deborah Petrucci of Plainville and Denise Petrucci and her husband Billy Seneschal of Plainville, his brother Alan Petrucci and his wife Jeanette of Newington, his sister Carol Brown and her husband William of Bristol, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Petrucci and sisters Lorraine Romano and Linda Petrucci.
