Robert Roy Brewster, 93, of Charlotte, North Carolina, died Monday August 8, 2011 at his residence. He was born May 23, 1918 in South Bend, Indiana to Roy and Alice (Miltenberger) Brewster.A retired electrician, he was employed with Bosch, formerly Bendix, and was a member of the Electricians Union.
He served in the US Army during WWII. Robert enjoyed farming, deer and mushroom hunting.
Robert is survived by are his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Robert Helms, Charlotte, North Carolina; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Jerry and Ellen Stanley, Osceola, Indiana, and Carl and Donna Brewster, Cassopolis; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta Yochim Brewster and three sisters.
