Robert Roundy, 81, of Galien, Michigan died Thursday morning, January 3, 2008, at his home surrounded by his family.
Bob was born July 26, 1926 in Galien to James Earl and Anna (Straub) Roundy and graduated from Galien High School in 1944. On October 19, 1946 he married Patricia Covert in Lakeside, Michigan. She preceded him in death on November 9, 2005.
Bob was a machinist at Hansen Mold in Bridgman and St. Joseph, Michigan and was a member of the Galien Township Fire Department for 25 years. He was also a member of the Olive Branch United Methodist Church in Galien. Bob enjoyed farming his entire life.
Survivors include his children, Larry Roundy of Galien; Pamela (Donald) Kuntz of Buchanan, Michigan; Susan (Jack) Heller of Niles, Michigan and William (Leslie) Roundy of Galien; grandchildren, Lori, Brett, Adam, Andrea, Sara, Nicole, Jason, Jon, Stephanie and Amber; and great grandchildren, Kennedy, Lauren, Nolan, Taylor, Eva, Ethan, Alivia, Alexis, Kylie, Keagan and Kaleb.
