Robert H. (Robbie) Hooks, age 83, longtime resident of Baker, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 26, 2015. Robbie was born November 13, 1931 in Crestview and attended school in Milligan.
He met the love of his life, Betty Moore and they were married three months later on May 24, 1951.
Robbie owned and operated Hooks Furniture and Floor Covering on Main Street in Crestview for 27 years.
Robbie was preceded in death by his parents, Isaiah and Irene Hooks, and a sister, Ruby Edenfield.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Hooks; children, Roy (Sharon) Hooks, Diane (Ricky) Hughes and Roger (Brenda) Hooks; a brother, John D. Hooks; grandchildren, Shellie (Scott) Hicks, Matthew Hughes and Nathaniel (Cheyenne) Hooks; great grandchildren, Caleb Hicks and Jayce and Raelynn Hooks; step grandchildren, Sheree (Mark) Seymour; and step great grandchildren, Hunter and Jordan Seymour.
