Robert “Bob” Snodgrass, 79, of Clarksburg peacefully passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the WV Veterans Nursing Facility in Clarksburg, WV. He was born April 25, 1937 in Mannington, WV; son of the late Ray and Rose Jones Snodgrass.
Mr. Snodgrass was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Rose Snodgrass; as well as his wife, Sandra Snodgrass and brother Jim Snodgrass.
He is survived by his sister, Rosemary George of Mannington, WV; his son and daughter-in-law, Mike Snodgrass and Nancy Hughes of Tempe AZ; his daughter Chrissa and son-in-law, Dirk Hansen of Walterboro, SC; two step-daughters and step sons-in-law, Jolene Powell and Chuck Atkins of Marietta, OH, Jamie Powell and Joe Nanashe of Queens, NY; one cousin, Ed Ryan, of Grafton, WV.
Mr. Snodgrass served in the United States Marine Corp from 1955 to 1959 and retired as Senior Machine Attendant from Phillips Lighting. He was a member of the NRA and Moose Lodge. His sense of humor was without measure, unmatchable, and will be deeply missed by all that knew him; he was truly one in a million.
