Robert R. Schuster, Esquire, 65, of Bethlehem, died from natural causes on Saturday, November 19, 2016, in his home. Born in Allentown, Bob was the son of the late Frederick and Laurel (Williams) Schuster. Bob was a lifelong resident of Bethlehem and a graduate of Liberty High School.
He also graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and the Dickinson School of Law. Bob was a self employed practicing attorney until his passing. He was a member of the Blue Mountain Baseball League Hall of Fame and at various times served as Vice-President and Secretary/Treasurer of the organization. He supervised the Greater Bethlehem Church Basketball League for 30 years. He was the score keeper for the Bethlehem Jeff’s Northampton County American Legion baseball team. Bob was a member of the Christ Church Dart Baseball Team since 1984.
He also served as Vice-President (1990-91), President (1991-93) and statistician since 1994 for the Bethlehem Inter-church Dart Baseball League. Bob was a member of Christ Church U.C.C. in Bethlehem. He was an avid sports fan who loved all the Philadelphia Teams. Survivors: brother Fred Schuster, Jr. (Alice) of Bethlehem; nephew Fred Schuster, III (Elizabeth); Shonna Smith (Danielle); five great-nieces.
