Robert (Bob) R. Dill, 84, of Belvidere, NE was born October 13, 1926 on the family farm, outside of Belvidere, Nebraska to Earl P. and Nelle E. (Trumble) Dill. With his beloved wife by his side, he passed peacefully after a lengthy illness on Friday, December 3, 2010.
As a lifelong resident of the farming community of Belvidere he graduated from Belvidere High School. After graduation, Bob joined the U.S. Navy and served as an Aviation Radio Operator from 1944-1946, during World War II. He attended the University of Nebraska, Lincoln from 1946-1948, receiving an associates degree in Agriculture and was a member of the Farmhouse Fraternity.
Bob married Arlys I. Alderson of Chester, Nebraska on June 13, 1964.
