Robert H. Poynter, 86, of Indianapolis passed away on August 27, 2017. He was born on May 6, 1931 to Everett and Opal Poynter. Robert married Barbara Lester on March 14, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was employed with Holland Trucking Company for many years as a truck driver.
Robert is survived by his wife Barbara Poynter; son Robbie Poynter (Latrisha); grandchildren Randy Cundiff, Damien Armstrong, Donavin Armstrong and Ashley Harris (Mark). He is preceded in passing by his parents, daughter Vickie Lynn Ramsey and five siblings.
